BEAVER — A new medical practice opened in the borough on July 26 that offers personalized preventative health care to its patients.
Dr. Annmarie Ray opened the first MDVIP, sometimes called concierge medicine, practice in Beaver County at 274 Third St., Beaver, joining more than 30 other MDVIP-affiliated doctors across Pennsylvania. She is board-certified in internal medicine and is affiliated with Heritage Valley Health System and Kindred Hospital at Heritage Valley.
“Maintaining a high volume of patients typical in traditional primary care makes it nearly impossible to focus on the individualized needs of each patient. Under the MDVIP model, my patients and I will have a partnership to keep them healthier 365 days of the year, not just in the doctor’s office,” Ray said in a prepared statement.
Ray received her medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and Beaver County Medical Society.
