A trip to the doctor’s office can mean crowded lobbies and long waits. That’s why some doctors are turning to a different type of health care.

There are no waiting rooms and patients get 24/7 direct contact with the doctor.
Bott said spending more time with a patient means fewer tests and a more accurate diagnosis, saving the patient money.
“I travel quite a bit and the opportunity to have access to a doctor whenever I need one is huge in my eyes,” said Dan Taute.
The cost per year? $2,500. For some patients, that’s a price that works.
“I can’t speak for other people, but for me, where we are, it certainly makes a lot of sense,” Taute said.
Concierge medicine has taken off on the coasts, and right now, there are only a few clinics offering the personalized health care in Nebraska.
It’s always a good idea to double check with your insurance company before switching doctors or offices.
